to Backdrops

In over 30 years working within the bar industry, Darrin developed a love for genuine, authentic interactions with everyone he comes in contact with. What started with a humble Sony Cybershot and taking pictures of customers to hang around the bar, soon fell into a deep fascination with photography for Darrin.

Over the past decade, Darrin has worked on perfecting his skills as a photographer as well as the unique ability to engage clients that he learned previously as a bartender. He helps his clients feel more comfortable with a light and fun atmosphere, taking what can be an extremely stressful event to a fun collaborative session. Darrin says it’s his goal to “find something to laugh about every day,” as he aims to provide the same joy through his photography.
